Oh, and Ceej, I cannot recommend Miller's Crossing and The Last Seduction enough. Seriously - Miller's Crossing is prolly my favorite mob movie - and that includes The Godfather and the like. If you don't believe me about how damn good this movie is, just ask Joe Mama about "the high hat"...
The Last Seduction - Fiorintino was robbed of an Oscar - this movie showed on HBO before it hit the theatres thereby rendering her ineligible to be nominated - she totally TOTALLY deserved to win the Oscar for her performance - she was the ultimate femme fatale - murdering and betraying everyone in the film - and she was scathingly brilliant in the role. Even if it wouldn't get you in the mood to write this story (I have it in the next batch of netflixed movies) they are fantastic films to watch.
