It happened about a month ago. I remembered that the last time I was really truly happy was when I was with her. I have been especially careful to make sure I'm not trying to fill the hole in my life left behind by my dad, and I'm fairly confident that's not what this is. Bottom line is that she obviously cares a lot about me and I obviously care a lot about her, and I knew I would regret not giving things a second chance, no matter how much the distance complicates things this time around.
