they need to drop Jerry and Clarence. They're dead weight and, by their very presence, make the show silly.
i always liked Alan's soapbox speeches and his moral stances, but it seems lately it's all for show. Alan used to pick real fights when he thought an injustice was being done, now it seems more like an empty speech with no real substantive dialogue to it.
Also, the gay subtext is getting a little weird.
