Its funny, but just like when Eddie died, I'm sitting here watching the tributes from his fellow WWE wrestlers and colleagues, and one thing comes to my mind. We sit here typing messages on a message board about what a cunt Vince is, or how HHH sucks, or how Cena shouldnt be champ, but we often forget, these guys are still just as human as us.
While seeing guys like Malenko and Chavo choked up is emotional, seeing guys like HHH and Vince just as upset is more overwhelming because no matter who they are in real life, we only ever see them as Mr McMahon and HHH, not Vincent Kennedy McMahon and Jean-Paul Levesque! Thats who we saw tonight.
Give it a few weeks, and the status quo will resume, and we will all go back to bitching and moaning about the shit being presented to us, but just for a while, all these guys have my sympathy, just as does his remaining family and all his friends!
Even more so than Eddie, I think Benoit is quite possibly the only guy in the business that most people, from the fans to the promoters, will all agree that he is one of the best, and barely a bad word could ever be said about him!
