jla), when we came to this new land, the PM box asplode with gold! ...and... extra private messages.
thus, i must task you with cleaning them. i.e; deleting much of the old shit. if you have more than 300 private messages saved, you have too many private messages saved. nuke'em! scroll through, check boxes, hit delete.
yes, its necessary (helps keep the database tidier)
