Again, you're off topic, but do really think that the fact that anyone, including Liddy, was convicted and served a prison sentence somehow makes someone else--somehow who murdered his family--more sympathetic?
It seems to me we should be judging each case on its own merits and the morality of each person on their own deeds. However, if anything, it would seem to me that a guy who did his time like a man for what he did (burglarly and conspiracy, basically) is a little more sympathetic that a "man" who murders his wife and kid and then takes his own life, presumably to avoid the consequences of his evil deeds.
But, hey, whatever helps you justify hero worship of a child murderer, I guess. Maybe next you can tell us that Benoit was just researching a book.
