This is not about 'oh, a famous wrestler has died, how tragic!' Hell, I'm not even a fan of Benoit, and I still feel sorry for him. The fact is that wrestling places a great deal of pressure on a person to maintain a certain physique particularly at the top levels where Benoit was, and offers very little time to maintain said physique by more usual means. Yes, steroids probably aren't a good idea, and yes Benoit probably shouldn't have taken them, but it isn't your place to say 'Hey, Benoit took steroids and murdered his wife and child! He's an evil little shit!'. The only person with that right is God, and I honestly don't believe he thinks that.
And of course we don't wring our hands about people we know nothing about being urdered, or murdering people. We don't know anything about them, it be wrong to claim a connection to them.
