Yeah. I truly think TNA would kick ass if Heyman were booking.

I think TNA is beyond saving at this point...

Vince Russo wants Kevin Nash to be an active wrestler for TNA again. Dutch Mantel is against the idea because Nash has burnt the promotion before. It remains to be seen what Jeff Jarrett decides to do here.

Junior Fatu is not under contract yet. He wanted to bill himself as Kishi, which he has been using on the indies, but TNA were fearful of WWE litigation.

Dawn Marie may be brought in for the Women's Division. She is good friends with Dixie Carter, who promised her a job in TNA if she ever wanted one after WWE fired her while she was pregnant.

Homicide, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Hernandez and Sonjay Dutt have all talked about leaving TNA recently. Ron Killings too, though his future involvement may never have been planned to extend beyond the Pacman Jones deal. TNA promised the others would get more TV time when the two-hour Impacts began.

Shelley Martinez, f.k.a. Ariel, is competing in a Fox Reality Channel show called The Search for the Next Elvira, which debuts on the 13 October.

"Several of TNA's top stars - including Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Team 3D, and Christian Cage - have banded together and are meeting with TNA President Dixie Carter to discuss "urgent" matters that they feel are threatening the company. There is tremendous frustration with TNA's creative direction - especially the booking of TNA's 2-hour iMAPCT! debut."

Sting has been talking a lot about retiring at the end of the year. Dixie Carter apparently wants him to stay on, even though Jeff Jarrett was reluctant to keep him on for this year due to his drawing power having proved short-lived.

Speaking of Jarrett, there is as yet nothing specific planned for his return other than that it will be for a match with Kurt Angle at some point. Jarrett and Angle are vying for political power in TNA in real life, with many TNA stars apparently having confronted Dixie Carter about getting Jarrett and Dutch Mantel removed from the booking process. A big Spike TV party on 24 September saw both the Jarrett and Angle 'camps' trying to recruit people to their cause, with B.G. James being particularly adamant that the wrestlers had to make a choice. Apparently, Karen Angle got rather drunk at the party and embarrassed herself, which won't have helped matters - not to mention Kurt's recent run-in with the law. Mantel is also unhappy as he feels there is not enough distinction being made between faces and heels, which is very much a Vince Russo trait.

The first TNA drug test is expected to happen within the coming two months. It will be an internal measure to gauge the extent of the problem, with no punishments expected to be given until future tests.

TNA has been talking about bringing in some more names. One mentioned was 2 Cold Scorpio. Another was A.J. Pierzynski, which was a Dixie Carter suggestion, yet they were told the Chicago media had little interest in covering Pierzynski in TNA again. Another name that has been discussed is - brace yourself - David Arquette. Arquette has been in touch with Johnny Fairplay about coming in as Fairplay's manager.

There is talk of somehow getting Pacman Jones to turn on Ron Killings and work a singles match with him in November.

Amazing Kong has been impressing a lot of people backstage. Samoa Joe, Senshi, Dutch Mantel and Mike Tenay are all quite taken with her work.

TNA's new Spike TV deal expires in September 2011.

Gail Kim's neckbreaker is called the Happy Ending. That's also the term used in Asian massage parlours for when the women masturbate their customers after giving them massages.

Sting is still in talks about staying in TNA for another year. Dixie Carter is a big fan of him and prepared to renew his $500,000 salary without adding extra house show dates, so it's basically up to Sting to decide if he really does want to retire or not.

Junior Fatu is asking for more money from TNA.

TNA are sending their top talent to New Japan for a big Tokyo Dome show on the 4th January 2008. Kurt Angle is still slated to defend the Inoki Genome Federation title on their 20th December show, so it remains to be seen if there is any conflict over Angle being Inoki's IWGP champion despite New Japan holding the rights to such a title.

Word is that Angle and Jeff Jarrett have made peace. The two had been forming factions backstage to vie for more control from Dixie Carter, with Sting being the only big name who refused to pick a side. Despite the differing opinions about TNA's booking it seems the status quo is going to be the way forward for now.

Jim Cornette is getting married to long-time girlfriend Stacey Goff on Halloween. They issued invitations designed like old-school wrestling flyers, advertising the 'World Marital Championships' with them in the main event for a match to go 'one fall with a lifelong time limit'. TNA would like Cornette to become a member of the booking team but he is reluctant to add any such stress to his life. At the moment he just tries to make sure segments he is involved with make sense and does what he can to protect the wrestlers he likes best, which at the moment means Matt Morgan.

Bret Hart divorced his second wife, Cinzia, a few weeks ago. They had been living together in Italy but Hart didn't want to stay there for the rest of his life and she didn't want to leave.

Austin Creed has been offered a TNA contract after his stellar performance at last Sunday's Bound for Glory pay-per-view. Bill Behrens publicly gave him an envelope with the contract at the NWA Anarchy show Saturday night in Cornelia, Georgia. Behrens mentioned Creed has joined A.J. Styles, Hernandez, Abyss and Ron Killings as coming from wrestling at the NWA Arena to TNA.

good. that dude could potentially add a lot to their show.

Shawn Daivari, Ryan O'Reilly and Krissy Vaine, who all recently finished with WWE, are interested in joining TNA. Daivari would seem to be the one most likely to get hired but nothing is definite yet.

Junior Fatu was scheduled to lose to Christian Cage on the 01 November edition of Impact but Chris Harris wound up subbing for him. Fatu had never signed a TNA contract and was holding out for more money in negotiations. When it became clear that they weren't going to give him it, he walked out.

According to Dave Meltzer, two 'key' X Division guys have been looking at getting full-time deals with AAA. They were told that AAA might bring people in occasionally for big shows but have no interest in bringing in more Americans on a permanent basis. AAA is cutting back on costs and doesn't want to have to fly people in regularly. They may change their mind if the wrestlers commit to living in Mexico City, which Sean Waltman has done and Ron Killings may well wind up doing, but for this reason even Konnan is not a TV regular there.

In semi-related news, Alex Shelley has been speaking to Konnan about the TNA program between him and Chris Sabin and Team 3-D. Shelley is concerned about being buried by the feud and wanted advice from Konnan.

If TNA could figure out what they want to do with the X Division, then Daivari could be a good fit there....
