I always enter the date range as "newer than 6 years" and leave "older than" blank!
Tends to work fine that way!

The search function does suck. Every time I've used it since the upgrade it doesn't do anything after clicking search. Also, when I click one of the new threads/posts (with the red numbering to tell me it is new) in any given forum, the remaining new threads/posts disappear. So I could check 3 out of many new posts in the Random Chat forum (Sponsored by PJP) only to have the rest of them appear as already read...when in fact, I haven't read them. It's like losing your place in a book and having to look through everything to find where you left off.
