It was addictive as hell! But, it was easily the best nextgen game I've played on the PS3. Everything was, relatively, flawless and progressive. Plan on going back and playing it again...

Agreed. I rarely go back and play a game I have already finished but with this one I went back and played an additional three times. It is just that good!

There's just so much to it. I love driving the little Mk-II around during the cutscenes on the ship, picking up the bonus packages and like. Also, I've only played the original MGS. So, all the flashbacks and "nostalgia" was much more prevalent for me (especially the "retro-dream sequence") than if I had played any of the interim games since.

And Raiden like a motherfucker.

Then announced yesterday at GDC that the Metal Gear franchise will be all about Raiden from now on.


November 6th, 2012: Americas new Independence Day.
