Okay, I'm a big fan of Byrne's Man of Steel mini as well as the Superman titles he worked on. He's fairly decent when his penciling is backed up by a good inker (Ordway, Giordano). However John's characters look horribly anorexic when he's flying solo (Generations, Lab Rats). I tried tolerating Byrne again when he did JLA with Jerry Ordway (Tenth Circle), and I was somewhat pleased. I only dropped it because of the story. It sucked balls.
