There is also no guarantee that a JLA movie would feature either character!

No, as a fangirl you want them to do it, but you cant see them doing it!
They have so much invested in the individual franchises that they would seriously not want to derail them. If they felt putting them in a JLA movie would do that, they would not think twice about doing it!
Unlike a team movie like X-Men, there are so many strong characters in the JLA that could hold down a solo movie, so they would not worry too much about pulling those two. I could easily see Flash and Wonder Woman being the prime players to make up for both having so much trouble being brought to the big screen like DC wanted to!
