Freaks is alright -- a good film to watch for film history and the cultural relevance. Not the best at standing up to the test of time though. There are a lot of films from that time period I like a lot better.
we broke that out for "movie night" once a few years back. there's a bit where one the clowns is washing up in his room and the girl says to him: "you're a funny guy" and I immediately popped off with "funny how? like a clown? am I a clown here to amuse you?" ahh, good times.
