This is pretty cool: All the stuff happening in the Sinestro Corps War, except the Sinestro Corps itself, was prophesized in one of Alan Moore and Kevin O'neill's GLC stories from 1986. I knew the villains that have been popping up in Dave Gibbons' GLC series seemed vaguely familiar.
Part of the prophecy is a GL called
Sodam Yat, who's destined to become the Ultimate GL. He was also part of Moore's Twilight of the Superheroes proposal. Being a Daxamite, he has Superman-like powers, so it's possible that he'll be the one to defeat Superboy Prime.
