The night between Friday and Saturday I watched several anime movies:
Spirited Away - about a girl who has to work in a bathhouse for Gods. Perfect Blue - psychological thriller similar to Hitchcock, Polanski and Twin Peaks Animation Runner Kuromi - comedy about how anime for TV is made, animated in a similar style as low budget anime Voices of a Distant Star - sci-fi which reminds of Ray Bradbury and Joe Haldeman Kakurenbo - horror about how a game of hide and seek goes very, very wrong Grrl Power - three girls runs a company, reminds somewhat about Cartoon Networks Powerpuff Girls, but better Stormy night - wolf and kid goat becomes best of friends. Heart-wrenching.
Yesterday (Sunday) I watched the western Red River with John Wayne and the 3rd part of Sopranos (last season).
"Batman is only meaningful as an answer to a world which in its basics is chaotic and in the hands of the wrong people, where no justice can be found. I think it's very suitable to our perception of the world's condition today... Batman embodies the will to resist evil" -Frank Miller
"Conan, what's the meaning of life?" "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women!" -Conan the Barbarian
"Well, yeah." -Jason E. Perkins
"If I had a dime for every time Pariah was right about something I'd owe twenty cents." -Ultimate Jaburg53
"Fair enough. I defer to your expertise." -Prometheus
