None of this would be important if the new story they came up with was any good.
thats how i feel -- i honestly don't care how similar the movie is to the comics. i don't really feel its all that important that it be a literal translation. as long as the basic gist is there (super guy, mean guy, fight, some death, some sad, some return!) its fine.
but the quality of how its told is key, of course. having not seen it, i can still hope/pretend that its not as terrible as every single person says who
has seen it.
