They've written/directed some of the best/funniest/brilliant movies out there:
The Ladykillers
Intolerable Cruelty
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
The Big Lebowski
Fargo
Raising Arizona
to name a few and most of all, one of the best mob flicks out there:
Miller's Crossing which is nothing short of brilliant.
I think Miller's Crossing is one of the greatest films ever made, and the Coen Brothers' best.
Agreed. I've said it numerous times here, but I think it could give
The Godfather a serious run for its money as the best mob flick out there - and yet, sadly, it doesn't garner the same recognition. The story was fantastic and the acting by every single one involved was absolutely stellar. I have watched it many times and never tire of it. To date, my favorite movie by the Coen brothers' by far.
