I could not agree more. Also,I think watching those old flics makes me feel the same way the silver age stuff I read does. Simple clear cut good-guy-bad-guy-non-smutty-entertainment recharges my batteries. Gore and guts and sadistic murders drain me. Watching people die or even be born can make you lose your taste for that crap quick.
