unfortunately yes.

My cousin was really into that coin-op game but I thought it was rather bullshit myself.

It was just a lame series of cartoon segments that would load depending on what movement you made.

Did I mention how much Dragons Lair was a blatant ripoff of the Disney style of animation?

Well, Don Bluth, the creator of Dragon's Lair, used to work for Disney. So it's not a rip-off per se'; it's just the style he was trained to do.
