My Favorite Year just ended. I think it was made in 1984?
It starred the guy who played cousin Larry from Bosom Buddies, and Peter O' Toole. Pretty good movie.
Before that was Guess Who's Coming For Dinner , starring Monty Wooley. He is some old british actor with a beard. He fell while visiting relatives and stayed there a while and drove the family nuts. Jimmy Durante was also in it.
It got 3 stars and was made in 1942.
Now am watching Back To The Future on HBO.

I watched a couple episodes of The Batman off YouTube, parts 1 and 2 of the Batman-Superman story. It was...interesting. I didn't think it was awful, but it wasn't the best. My only real complaint is that I don't think the voices from STAS fit the younger versions in The Batman. I still have yet to check out the rest of Season 5.

Snakes on a Plane, on Cinemax.
I resisted watching it but there is nothing else on.
I hate snakes. I had to kill a snake once when I lived on the farm. It wouldn't stop going into the washhouse. ( Shed where the washer and dryer were located. ) I didn't enjoy killing it, either. I wish I had not had to do that. Stoopid snake.

You didn't have to do it. You could have relocated the snake. We tried that.... several times during that particular summer! It wouldn't stop coming back. And black snakes are good because they are non poisonous, fight poisonous snakes, and eat rats and mice and shit like that. And as I said earlier, I didn't like killing it. George tried to get it out with a 4 pronged heavy duty metal rake ( It was pinned between the prongs ) and it kept lunging at him. I cut it's head off with a shovel before it could get George. Not a happy memory, but it happened.

I think this 1988 movie is Christian Slater's best.
It was one of the very first movies I ever saw on cable. Watched it again. Splendid movie! I recommend it highly, even if you are a not a fan of Christian Slater, as it is the best movie I've seen him in. It has a fantastic car chase scene at the end.
