What's maddening about G-man and the rest of that train of thought is that they, and more importantly, their children, wives and loved ones, directly benefit from all these dreaded regulations that they oppose. Their children are safer and their lives are better all on account of liberals who are costing their precious industry money. Money that they (unless they're being hired to represent that industry)will never see, never spend and never benefit from.
I myself am completely puzzled why someone would put the concerns of the pockets of industry over the very lives of their own loved ones.
Going back over that piece on auto safety I pasted, in it you can see the thousands of lives impacted on account of that type of mentality. So much NEEDLESS death and suffering because industry fought tooth and nail over things we all take for granted nowadays.
