What this means is that most people will be stuck with 300 or Batman Begins (eventually) that can't do the whole cool interactive thing.

So it's not a question of being pissed at my hardware. It's knowing that now High Def DVD's will be coming out that are just a step above (barely) over standard dVD rather than getting some of the excellent HD-DVD's that were coming out regularly with killer features.

I really don't give a fuck if my extras are in standard Def, which is the only extra Blu offers. HD-DVD could easily have added a 2nd disc if it started to matter too much to people. Which isn't unheard of BTW. So that whole extra capacity argument is sorta baloney as well. As if the studios were going to go apeshit over the fact that they could add hours and hours more of documentary content on a single disc. Would they really pony up the cash to produce it, anyways?
