Yeah yeah I know, it's a new thread about Heath Ledger--What a gas!
Have we at all considered that maybe this isn't some chance event? Jack Nicholson was said to be absolutely furious that Ledger took the part of the Joker and didn't give him a chance for reprisal.
I think we should keep in mind that ol' Jack coulda hexed Ledger--OR! Perhap, just maybe, the part of the Joker is cursed and nobody but Nicholson can play it without ending up dead!

Pariah could be on to something here. I mean, Ceasar Romero wouldn't shave that stash, and where's he? Dead. Dead like the guy who played Grandpa on The Munsters, who also wore white face paint. Know what happened to him? Died. And Brandon Lee (RIP) wore white face paint in The Crow........just like Jack Nicholson!!

I just don't see Jack Nicholson hexing anybody. Jack's the kind of guy who'd just kill Ledger directly, and probably not with sleeping pills. As Punisher and Jerry pointed out, Jack's more of a "bash his brains in" kind of guy.
If anything, I think Ledger just got tired of hearing twenty different "Brokeback" jokes per day and decided to end it all.

Jack Nicholson said he "warned" Heath Ledger before the star died.
Nicholson portrayed the Joker in the 1989 movie "Batman" -- a role Ledger took on in the upcoming Batman movie "The Dark Knight."
Nicholson was told of Ledger's death by photographers outside a London restaurant, and he replied, "I warned him," the Splash news agency reported. It's unclear what he warned Ledger about.
HEATH Ledger's journey into dark places may have begun a year ago while locked up in a London hotel room.
To prepare for his role as the Joker in this summer's Batman sequel, "The Dark Knight," the actor spent six weeks alone, formulating his take on the insane villain by experimenting with different voices, laughs and postures.
He also kept a journal of the Joker's psychology. On one page was a list of things the villain might find funny, including "AIDS."
Although Ledger said the Joker was "the most fun" he had ever had playing a character, in light of his death, many fans are left to fixate not on the film itself, but on the tragedy. Could the stress of playing a maniac have contributed to the actor's demise?
"It was an exhausting process," Ledger told MTV. "At the end of the day, I couldn't move. I couldn't talk. I was absolutely wrecked."
This exhaustion led him to begin taking Ambien. "Last week, I probably slept an average of two hours a night," he told The New York Times in November. "I couldn't stop thinking. My body was exhausted, and my mind was still going."
"The Dark Knight," prior to Ledger's death, was sure to be among the top earners of the summer (along with the fourth Indiana Jones movie). Now with the added attention, it's likely to rake in even more.
It's little comfort to Ledger's fans, but at least the actor will live on in ticket buyers' nightmares

Don't fuck with Jack, man.
MSNBC posted a video a few days ago; he warned Ledger about the dangers of sleeping pills, he claims.

what about Mark Hamill or the asshole who plays him in that piece of shit The Batman show?
you don't remember these? This is an edit of all of them combined, but you get the point. Batman has On-Star and it helps him fight crime. Oddly enough the Batman actor reprised the role (sort of) in the Birds of Prey pilot.

No. It was some stuntman or unknown actor. I forget which but there was some stories about him back when the commercials aired.
And the guy playing the Joker is the same guy who played "Booger" in "Revenge of the Nerds." As far as I know he's still alive and doing some of the voices on "American Dad."
