I just looked this movie up on IMDB to see who's gonna play....alright, I admit it, to see who was gonna play Pepper Potts... BUT WHO CARES?? I noticed that Ultimate Nick Fury's ultimatum has come true! Noone can play Nick Fury other than Mr. Samuel L. Jackson, and the discussion is not even open for debate... That is fucking cool. So, we have Downey Jr. as Tony Stark (Damn straight!) and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury! This just keeps getting better and better! Either of the two, I think, couldn't have been better. I don't think there's anyone who'd be able to deliver, from what we've seen so far, a better Tony Stark. And ONLY Samuel L. Jackson can play Nick Fury! well, him and David Hasselhoff...

Ready for that interesting rumor? According to a scooper at Ain't It Cool News, "There are some fuzzy politics going on with the Iron Man and Hulk movies -- they're shooting a scene TOGETHER! The trouble is, I can't tell if its an Iron Man scene with the Hulk in in or a Hulk scene with IRON MAN in it, more interestingly, it's possible that the SAME SCENE or some variation of it might be in BOTH movies lending to the comic book/single universe, many heroes idea seen in the past -- uber cool." Allegedly, Sam Jackson as Nick Fury will be the thread that ties the films together. seeding for that rumored Avengers/Ultimates flick?

It would be superb to have Iron Man and Hulk in the same movie.
Love to see Iron Man and the X- Men together, too.

Dear, sweet Harley Kwink...I'm madly in love with you. Marry me! We can go to Canadia. Or Boston or something. It'll be grand...You know the cookies are a given. They are ALWAYS a given. You could dump me tomorrow and you'd still get the cookies. Boston..shit, wherever dyke weddings were legalized. And where better to rub their little piggie noses in how bad they suck than right on their doorstep? What are they gonna do? Be jealous of you? Stare furiously at your tah-tahs? Not willingly give you cookies, but instead begrudgingly give you their cookies? Woman, time to wake up to the powers you wield - Uschi

Ain't It Cool News also has another crossover rumor: "So the scene that was shot was for the Hulk with General Thunderbolt who is very important to the Hulk. Anyway, Tony Stark meets with him -- which of course is a straight prelude to the 'Avengers' Movie."

Personally, this shit better work. I hate thinking all these hero movies are contained in separate universes.

Yeah, I'm of the belief that only the GOOD Marvel movies coexist with Hulk and Iron Man... Ideally... - X-Men & X2
- Daredevil (sans Garner)
- Fantastic Four & FF 2 (barely...but, only because not all superhero movies have to be uber-serious and all...got to leave something for the kids)
- Spider-Man & Spider-Man 2
- Blade
Am I forgetting any?

i thought the superbowl trailer looked really cgi-ish, however, i didn't mind it at all. for some reason, it didn't have the same "power rangers" feel to me that the spidey movies did.

Once again, its all a matter of personal choice. Some people here would tell you that Hulk and Daredevil were shit as well.
For my money, the only weak (recent) Marvel films have been Spidey 3, Blade 3 and X-3 (notice a trend?), with only one terrible one, Elektra, which was damn near unwatchable!

Daredevil was great (except that stupid playground fight scene), the directors cut was even better.

I agree. Take out the playground fight, Jennifer Gardner, and the Kingpin, and it would have been one of the best Marvel movies. Contrary to universal opinion, I actually liked Ben Affleck as the character. Think he did a damn good job, and I hope they can lure him back again one day...
