They reran this on one of the cable channels this weekend. I watched about five minutes of this when my wife walked in.

Her: "What are you watching"?

Me: "Knight Rider."

H: "What's it about? Why is no one driving the car?"

M: "It's a show about a guy with a talking super car that fights crime."

H: "You're kidding."

M: "No. It was a big hit in the 80s. This is a remake. Val Kilmer's in it."

H; "He plays the guy?"

M: "No, he's the voice of the talking car."

H: "Who plays Knight Rider?"

M: "Some guy. Looks like they got him off a soap opera."

H: "Where is he if he isn't driving?"

M: "I'm not sure. I just tuned in."

H "If the car can talk and drive itself, why does it need the guy?"

M: "I dunno. Ballast?"

H: "Change the channel. There HAS to be something on better than this."
