if you wanna be a whore for label markup go ahead. granted sony and samsung lcds kick copious quantities of ass, but honestly I don't think the difference is enough to justify such a gap in price. it's your money; if you'd rather throw it at the shiny letters on the front of your tv be my guest.
I agree with Jermery Faggot, except I'd say yer better off sticking with any big name brand.
When it comes to things like big tvs, why scrimp on quality?
You can get big names at decent prices these days, and quite frankly, the product is usually better anyway!
