You only embellish on language and spelling cause it's all you've got to use against us. And since you are so "articulate" why don't you try explaining to me why it's not arbitary?
if crashing and dying weren't so bad, pilot training would be arbitrary.
if dying from the
fugu weren't a problem, culinary school for sushi chefs would be arbitrary.
if illegible posts and generally sounding like a spluttering twelve-year-old isn't a big deal to you, I suppose language can be arbitrary to you, if that makes you happy.
and if you think your
linguistic skills are all we have on you, your spelling must be bad enough that you can't even read your own posts anymore.
Language is what we make it. Words have no more meaning then what we give them. Words are spelled as we spell them. What matters is communication. If you know what I'm trying to say then all is well.
Language is what it is, not what you want to make it.
If we all made language (and spelling) how we want it, then we would all be unable to communicate (can you speak to a guy in Japanese or understand what he is saying?).
Words are spelled as they are spelled, not how you decide to spell them.
Also there are differences in words, such as the fact that "then" and "than" are two very different words, thus making your sentence make no sense.
No matter how you cut it, you cannot come here and call people stupid if you cannot even grasp the basic concept of spelling.
Simple fact is, people who cannot spell are fucking idiots as spelling is one of the most fundamental aspects of any educational system, alongside basic mathematics.
