The lame-ness is a pungent smell which burns my nostrils, but is faintly amusing nonetheless. Kind of like learning that your best friend who has passed out on your back lawn at a party has soiled himself while drunk and hasn't woken up yet to discover what has happened.

We have learned that:

1. they have put far too much effort into closing down this message board, much more than any rational (and, frankly, non-complusively obssessivly behaved nerd) person would put into a task. This makes them look like failed try-hards;

2. they cry like babies with full nappies (that's "diapers" to you lot) about "losing" (whatever that actually means - there will be a "winner" and a "loser" in a flame war? Naive!);

3. they think Rob is gay (he is, and his hot fiancee is a cardboard cut-out which he unfolds for photographs);

4. they think we're all rampant Republicans (a misconception which makes me laugh my socially-liberal arse off and would compel an angry Mxy to done a beret and take to the streets of his quaint Mexican village with an AK-47 to start a Bolivian revolution); and

5. Whomod is actually the trigger for this. Sigh. I thought he was actually a decent chap. And now look! He's let the monkeys out of the cage and no one wants to clean up the carpet!

6. they think Rob is in charge, which is the funniest thing of all.

It was always hard to respect people who used silly alts to deliver a punchline, but now we know they're ACTUALLY TAKING IT SERIOUSLY I'm finding myself overcome with pitying mirth.

I'd say they're psychologically shattered and their morale must be at a nadir. Thoughts?
