So it's a pointless distraction either way. The point is that there is a report that Bush has spent YEARS suppressing that calls the fuckhead a liar on what we've been told about the war and it (yet again) corroborates his critics.

And Halo sucking dick pictures might make you all feel good. But this was never a game. Because of the tacit unquestioning approval of people like you guys and because of the hounding of anyone who opposed or questioned these lies, it was allowed to go on for YEARS already. That's real dead American soldiers, never mind the dead Iraqi's, on YOUR hands, people. And pictures of dick suckings and childish insults doesn't change that. It just goes to show just what mindless childish bullies took our country hostage for too too long. the good thing is that historically, it didn't go too well for the McCarthyites, after they fell from power and influence either.

The report said that Iraq didn't try to buy uranium from Africa, but it also said that the intelligence on Iraq did say that Saddam had restarted his chemical and nuclear weapons program. It was the intelligence, not Bush, that was wrong on that. The same intelligence that Clinton, Kerry, and even John Rockefeller said was true prior to the Bush administration taking office. I'll admit that al Quiada wasn't involved with Iraq as long as you also admit that terrorist training camps were in fact discovered in Iraq.

Well, if you want to cling to the coattails of Ahmed Chalibi and "Curveball" that's your prerogative I suppose. Just don't pretend that there wasn't contrary evidence that these guys weren't to be trusted and that there were no counter arguments out there to this being so. In fact I seem to recall posting them all here on these boards, some from top people inside the Administration BEFORE they decided to attack Iraq, to the usual dismissals, questions of loyalty, and blind faith in the people who deceived you.

As for your terrorist camps found in Iraq, you're referring to the Ansar al-Islam guerrillas WHO HAD CAMPS IN THE NORTHERN NO-FLY ZONE under our control and clearly away from Sadaam Hussein's control. These people were his enemies, not allies. These are the sorts of idiot talking points that the right likes to use to justify their continued head in the sand mentality. Y'know, when pressed against the wall for candor, the Administration has had to admit that there was no relationship between Al queda and Sadaam but apparently that still isn't enough to keep these kinds of rationalizations from surfacing and resurfacing from people who want to cling to justification for why we're there.

This report changes nothing for me as it in no way has provided any information to contradict the reasons I supported the war with the exception of the faulty intelligence on the nuclear program (a fact that's been in public knowledge for years). I agreed with going to war with Iraq though I may not have agreed or believed all of Bush's reasons to. I still think that it was a good idea. I just feel that it wasn't handled properly from the get-go, and I give Bush and his administration the responsibility for that.

Of course not. All your excuses and rationalizations are just cop outs. You're going to cling to whatever shreds remain of the right wing talking points justifying this fiasco.

See, you like to say that I just follow what Bush says blindly because it's just another way for you to discount my opinion. It ignores the fact that I've said (repeatedly) that I disagree with many of his policies before on this very board. I disagree with his education plan, creation of more government bureaucracy, his inability to cut useless government spending, and the detaining of the Gitmo prisoners without trial among others. But, then again, I'm only capable of toeing the Bush line. So I guess I'm just going to have to follow this super secret memo that I've just received from the White House and tell you to go fuck yourself.

You sound just like Wonder Boy there. "I disagree with Bush yadda yadda". Or it just sounds like every Republican currently running for re-election.

At least you're sensible about Guantanamo Bay. Did you you hear the one about how the judge in one of the trials was replaced because the case wasn't going the Administrations way?

Now I re-posted the Richard Clark interview again because that man impresses me. he's an honorable man which the Administration had no problem slandering when he stepped out and informed us of some of the deception going on. And yeah, Scott McLellan slandered him in public. He's human like the rest of us and he did in fact take some measure of glee when the White House was slandering McLellan in kind when he too had enough. But he was big enough t accept McLellan asking him for his forgiveness. We can all move past this but it's going to have to take this administration coming clean and it's going to take all of the people who were happily and eagerly fooled and who then happily and eagerly attacked people's patriotism and loyalty for questioning these lies, to admit they too were duped and not continue to hold a line past all fucking reason.

Because NEWSFLASH. people who know they're right don't take kindly when the mindless attack dogs of the people lying to everyone question their patriotism and loyalty. They don't take kindly to people telling them they don't support the troops because they don't support this war on account of the falsehood it was waged on. They don't think "supporting the troops" is sending them to die for Bush's lies either.
