The more I read Tommy's posts to Iggy, the more they sound like the begging and pleading of a jilted girlfriend. It's like Tommy can't accept that Iggy broke up with him so he's writing these notes to convince Iggy of his errors in hopes that Iggy will take Tommy back. Which makes Tommy sound that much more pathetic, really.
Tommy, Iggy doesn't love you anymore. He doesn't mind if you keep his letter jacket - you should have something to remember him by - but you need to stop trying to get him back. It's embarrassing and it freaks him out when you stand under his bedroom window with a boom box in your hands and play music to him. Also, even if he appreciated the gesture, "Rape Me" isn't a good choice for music.
