I have no opinion on the first three, as I have never watched them (chick flicks tend to be avoided purely on the basis they are chick flicks). The Pirates films I like. Reservoir Dogs though, I fully agree with you on, and am glad that someone actually agrees with me on this. (personally I'd also add the Kill Bill films, as I generally think Tarantino is overrated himself)
Reservoir Dogs I like as a fun film. It's not high art. Kill Bill, though, I'll agree with both of you on. It's kinda a fun film, but it's one of those things were Tarantino couldn't decide on what he wanted to really do. It's like he threw everything he's ever seen from any Asian film onto the screen in an attempt to see what stuck.
