Farrell needs the right character and co-stars to make his stuff funny. I hated Farrell and still found Anchorman fucking hilarious. I think a lot of it did with not just Farrell and the script, but the people he had in the film with him like Rudd and Carell. Plus, the anchor street fight was the fucking bomb.
