I watched that horrible Christmas show she did (runaway bride?) and the first episode of the last series....that was enough!
Oh COME ON! I can't tell you the universe of difference between her character in those two beginning episodes, and the rest of the season! Man, she's a great actress! You should really watch the entire season with an open mind. I know you hate her show over there. I don't find her funny at all in anything I've ever seen her in. Except, she was one of the best companions in the history of Doctor Who. Seriously, man. If your hatred of her isn't unreasonably pathological, then you really should give the rest of her season a shot. She just got better and better.
