I've seen a japanese version of spiderman who had a kick ass car. It had guns and shit. I believe he also had a big robot made out of cardboard boxes (it was very effective against giant monsters made out of rubber).

You win Pro. The beginning of Wolverine 67 was pure setup with good dialogue between Hawkeye and Wolverine. I like the dark future, but does it have anything to do with Miller's stories outside Wolverine? Oh yeah, and I'll have to check out what happens with the spider-child.

Exactly. It was a damn good story. Whether it has to do with what Millar's writing in FF right now, I really don't know. But, I wouldn't put it past him. Unfortunately, once the FF/present storyline happens, and all the heroes don't die, then I think that invalidates G-Man's conviction that this is all in-continuity/legitimate, one-true future. We'll see...

I'm really enjoying this story.
With regards to Fan-wankery writing, I would say this but that's not a bad thing - for me at least.
I couldn't help but get a semi at Hawkeye chastising Logan for not helping him defeat the Ghostriders. Logan has made it clear on a few occasions to Hawk that he's not the same person he used to be, there's a great image of Wolverine being attacked by Apocalypse, Mr Sinister, Sabretooth & gaylord(omega red) saying that he was broken!
Hawkeye complaining that he wasn't killed in the great war!

I think Millar is the best writer of the big two at the moment!
His stories aren't as tightly written as Brubakers excellent Cap & DD but he does enough per issue to get me to want to read the next one. Wankery at it's best!
