It's not taboo, but red hair is always a target for piss taking. Always. And VIZ made it worse by having items on gingers.

As an aside; during my bar wench years, I noticed that a lots of red heads were also left handed. I think that of the given population who are left handed, a high proportion have red hair; or a high proportion of red heads are left handed. I'll need some funding and a lab to be sure, but my amateur social study could have significant genetic results.


I personally know more men who are bald/receding than have full head hair - so bald is "normal".
