I think the immediate aftermath may also go down as the high water mark and the beginning of the end of the American Century. The current drivers of the clown car seem very happy to squander the vast reserves necessary for a slow decline on order to fail spectacularly at making America great again. Perhaps good for the world, but our children are going to be paying one hell of a price.
