I bought "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence", "Labyrinth", and a bootleg copy of "The Man Who Fell To Earth" (including a short called "The Image" from 1969), but I haven't watched those (or "Christiane F.") mainly because I haven't had the time, but also because I'm saving them for when I get Bowie's new "A Reality Tour" DVD.

Finding Nemo was ok,not the biggest animated film fan,but the Pixar side of Disney can be pretty cool!

Ray Bradbury Theater. I think it's all five seasons of the TV series.

I just watched the episode called "Boys! Raise Giant Mushrooms In Your Basement!" and was staggered at how bad it was - it didn't remotely hold a candle to the old Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode of the same story (the AHP episode was called "Special Delivery", and it terrified my young self). Bad acting, poor directing, and a predictable script killed this episode. But I know the episode with Shatner in it, called "The Playground" will kick some serious arse!

By the way, does anyone know if "Special Delivery" is available in an AHP collection?

Eurotrip...one funny fucking movie.

I got Mulan (special edition) for my gal, and Shrek 2 for me. So those are on the "must watch" list. I bought them at Best Buy and, while standing in line, got sucked into the impulse buy: horror movies for $1. That's right, ONE DOLLAR each. I ended up with Little Shop Of Horrors, The Brain That Wouldn't Die, The Ghoul, Dementia 13, and two or three others. Granted, they're not exactly John carpenter's The Thing, but they're fun little flicks that didn't make that much of a dent in my wallet.

Truly excellent. The scene with the mime cracked me up (I hate mimes). The scenes in Amsterdam almost made me wet my pants (that poor David Spade lookalike), as did the Vatican fire. 'Matter of fact, I wondered what our more...devoted...posters would have thought about all the Vatican moments.

I didn’t know Carrott had a DVD out. I’ll have to have a look into that. Saw him live in ’98 on his last big tour, really good.

I’ve just bought the original Manchurian Candidate. I don’t know when I will get to see it though, I also just bought a SNES and Mario Kart and that is winning the battle for my affections and spare time.

Disney masterworks-the war years.
I got this at the library. Its all the old disney cartoons that were made during WW2. It includes everything from propaganda movies to military training cartoons. Very interesting. Something I might buy when I have the money.

Watched 12 Angry Men last night. My favourite film. Haven’t watched it for a couple of months as I lent it to a friend. Love it, no matter how many times I see it.

Last week.

The Bourne Supremacy.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Bugsy.
Rear Window.
and
Ghandi

Now Ghandi was quite a surprise. I didn't expect it to be as inspiring as it was.
Just goes to show. When you toss someone off a train for not being white, you just don't know who you may be fucking with.
