I might be adopting or fostering a 4 week old rottweiler puppy that came in tonight for neglect and abuse. Anyone have name ideas? I was thinking "DJ Sparks" or "Baconfuck."

And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack.

 My dog Tramp is half rottwwiler. One of the nicest dogs I've ever had and very protective of "his family". They have a lot of energy and need to be walked at least every night or they get fiesty then mean. As long as you take good care of them they are great and loyal dogs.

Seriously, you need to be careful if this pup has been abused. Any abused animal is going to have issues later on. You have to be especially careful around a dog that's going to become very large and very powerful. Rotts can actually be very loving dogs; but once you fuck with one, that's when you start getting into the realm of the stereotypical vicious rott. My brother had a rott. It was a very big one. My niece would ride the damn thing like a pony when she was five. It was a very friendly and playful animal. I don't remember an instance of it biting or attacking anyone. My brother could even pull it off it's food bowl without the thing fighting back or giving so much as a growl. He then got another rott from the same litter, but this one had been abused. He treated it the same way that he raised the other dog who was gentle and friendly. It took a while, but that dog finally calmed down a great bit and seemed to be acting like his first dog. Well, he eventually had to have the second rott put down because it was sporadically become violent and uncontrollable with seemingly no reason. Just at random. So if you do adopt this pup, please, be careful and mindful.
