Hill Street Blues, just finished season 1, gonna watch 2 then go my parents and raid my dad's video collection for the rest! I wish they'd bring them out on DVD dammit!

Does the DVD include all the stuff they cut from the movie?

The bonus disc has a bunch of deleted scenes and an alternate opening scene, but I think the movie is the standard version!

I just want the scene where he finds Captain America's body.

Well the US version will apparently be a 3 disc version, so you might have a chance of getting it.

I will let you know, if its on the bonus disc once I have watched it!

The alternate opening is the cameo scene.

I heard it was a doozy.

I just watched Hulk for the first time yesterday. Pretty cool movie: I had no idea William Hurt played Ross! And they even threw in an Altered States reference!

Just watched it, and its there for a fraction of a second.

You have to freeze frame it to see it though as its pretty much the last thing you see before the screen goes black.

Maybe the scene will be used or expanded upon when they do the Cap movie.

I've been watching the first two seasons of Law and Order. Good stuff.

One of my favorites! Kevin Kline was so funny. Would have made a great President!

Charles Grodin was real funny too.

My Dad suggested it to me, and he hardly ever suggests movies.

The other night I watched Blade Runner:The Final Cut.

I can't tell you how different it was from the directors cut because I haven't watched it in a few years.

I watched it late at night I turned all the lights off.

It looked great on my flatscreen using an upconvert DVD player.

I really enjoyed it. It holds up really well.

I watched kung fu panda until I got sick of jack black saying how awesome he was.

I made it five minutes.

A somewhat amusing plot. Unfortunately it got stupider as it went so I didn't finish it

I really, really hate Jack Black.
Though, I did watch "Kung-Fu Panda" with some friends. Wasn't a bad movie; by no means what I'd usually watch. But what the hell, I was half-asleep anyway.
Though, on a side note, learning that Dustin Hoffman provided the voice of the old guy was a bit of a surprise.

Now I know its complete crap.

Running on Karma.
Watch it here, in low quality motherfucker.

The film's about an ex-monk who can see people's karma along with his or her past life, and a perky young CID agent who was a sadistic japanese soldier in her past life.

It starts out as a typical HK commercial flick, with cute popstar leads, fight scenes from people who are obviously not martial artists and run of the mill rom-com antics, with the obligatory scene hinting that everything will be alright and they may just get away with a moral lesson and another poppy love song..

Then it gets weird as the film seems to shift to a darker, depressing, and confusing tone. It has one of those crappy endings that you need to interpret on your own (basically, it doesn't make much sense).

The movie is really worthless if you just want a good plot and a moral lesson, but the shift in tone and mood is interesting, with the bubblegum romance aura of the film's beginning contrasting greatly with the gory, violent ending. Spoiler alert: there is a happy ending but the lead female ends up beaten to death in front of a videocamera, her head bashed in with a huge boulder, then cut off and hung on a tree. It was shown in one of those blairwitch-type camera shots, which makes things look disturbing.

Grindhouse Releasing puts together a great package for their DVDs. The previews alone have given me a decent-sized list of DVDs to buy, and the bonus features (and Easter eggs) are great.

I've been in a horror/exploitation mood for the last few months.

Not sure what to think about this flick. I love the original, and I can't stop laughing that the Asian ballplayer from Major League 2 is in this flick.
