NEW JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED EPISODES

Cartoon Network is launching what it is calling a new season of Justice League Unlimited on Saturday, Feb. 5.

Here's how the network describes the new season:

"The Justice League, led by Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, has grown much larger because the threats are even greater. This season, Black Canary, Shayera, Vigilante, Vixen and The Question step up to face such villains as Lex Luthor, Felix Faust and Tobias Whale. And Superman takes on Cadmus in a battle that will determine the future of the League."

Here's a rundown of new episode for February:

Saturday, Feb. 5: "The Cat and The Canary" - Black Canary convinces Green Arrow to help save her mentor, the Wildcat, from his involvement in an underground, super-powered fight club.

Saturday, Feb. 12: "The Ties that Bind" - The world's greatest escape artist needs help from The Flash in order to break a deadly enemy out of an inescapable prison on an alien planet.

Saturday, Feb. 19: "The Doomsday Sanction" - While Superman battles Doomsday in the heart of a Volcano, Batman discovers an elaborate conspiracy to destroy the Justice League.

I'm sorry. It's Jonah Hex. My bad.

Jonah Hex was in the original Batman series. In an episode with Ra's Al Ghul, Ra's ended up explaing to Batman an event from around the 1890s. Ra's had built a huge blimp that was designed to rain fuel bombs up and down the east coast. Unfortunately for him, Jonah Hex, who was a bounty hunter at the time, had thwarted his plans.

It's a damn good watch.

That's why he's so familiar looking.

I got to download it yesterday at work so I did get to see it.

Very interesting episode . . . I saw from the little snipets at the end that it looks like present & future Bruce will meet up . . .

Yeah. Unfortunately. Batman Beyond sucked. And I really hate those time travel methods where they have a guy go into the future and see himself when he wouldn't even be there to make a future for himself. I hope they use the multiple timeline probability theory to make things easier to swallow.

Perhaps. Or maybe it's to show that they eventually make it back home. It's just a matter of how and when.

I recognize future/grown-up Static, whom they once showed on Static Shock. What about Jon Stewart's son? Is there a reason he has wings? This could be interesting, kinda like The Kingdom: Nightstar (possible daughter of Nightwing and Starfire).

There is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes, and maybe it’s too much for us, but it’s all on you. Because if we can’t protect the Earth, you can be damn well sure we’ll avenge it.

Hello?
Put Natasha on the phone.
Who is this?
This is her fucking son's father. Who is this?
This is her fucking son.
..........oh.......
Call back in 20 minutes. *click*

Boy, you could get lost in a sky like that. I wish I had those balloons again.

Warhawk (Stewart's son) was in the Batman Beyond episode: the Call. If you haven't seen it, you should. You'd like it.
