Avast.

So I can expect an e-card invitation to a Wiccan wedding in Hoboken at some stage in the next 12-18 years, and should bring my own camera?

Yep. I, uh, might not be able to make it.

You out kicked your coverage man. She's very pretty. Nice big brown eyes.

Does she know what you do for a living? Is she cool with Batman?

My best to both of you!

yes... big eyes ... (you really are gay!)

i dunno what "outkicked your coverage" means, though.

she is aware of every level of my nerdiness. batman, intrawebs, computery, nintendorkitude, etc. she tollerates it, which is really all i could ask for or expect. she is obsessed with 80s rock. we all make our sacrefices.

anywho, welcome back jj.

Dear god, Bon Jovi? Really? Is she being ironic? Or, is this some strange fetish that she should outgrow? BTW, how old is she? Was she actually kicking-it during that era, or, is this some kind of retro thing on her part? Kind of like me getting into The Beatles, or something?

she's my age. she was like 7 during peak bon jovi hair era. its not retro, but its not exactly like she was out at hair metal clubs (is that a real thing?)

and she's not all metal spike braceletey or anything, either. thats just her preferred driving music of choice.

Yeah, horrified is a good word for it, but hey, if it floats her boat.

Pink Floyd is a superb band!

Dark Side Of The Moon, Umagumma, Meddle, Wish You Were Here, The Wall,

College and Floyd naturally go together. In fact, I'd suspect that she's really into smoking pot now, too... (btw, that's not a slight towards your daughter, just a leap of logic given experience)

She has "Wish You Were Here" as the ring for her roommmate on her cell phone. It's hilarious.

I still can't really get her into Yes, though.

Oh, I now have a Yes tattoo.

Yes is another great band that I like.

I feel their very best works were Time And A Word, The Yes Album, Fragile, and Close To The Edge.
