Pariah, I think you're a bit hard on DarkKnight613.

Him and I clashed a lot in the beginning, but once we understood each other better, we got along, despite our representing opposite liberal and conservative poles of thought.
I think he was a sincere guy who was entrenched in his liberal views, but could still be reasoned with. The topic in my signature is pretty representative of what his arguments were like.
I do agree that he would present arguments from an odd third-person "devil's advocate" POV and other hypotheticals, rather than just present them as his own views.
But I don't think anyone here questioned the fact that those were his actual views. I still liked having him here, because we could still have a dialogue and lay out both sides of the issue in a mostly civil way.

  • from Do Racists have lower IQ's...

Liberals who bemoan discrimination, intolerance, restraint of Constitutional freedoms, and promotion of hatred toward various abberant minorities, have absolutely no problem with discriminating against, being intolerant of, restricting Constitutional freedoms of, and directing hate-filled scapegoat rhetoric against conservatives.

EXACTLY what they accuse Republicans/conservatives of doing, is EXACTLY what liberals/Democrats do themselves, to those who oppose their beliefs.
