I've been pretty clear that I support civil union for gays, that keeps it a secular union that doesn't bastardize and confuse the religious definition of marriage.

The problem is that gays use that as a beach-head to further advance their cause, and undermine religious freedom. Just as they have in ramming birth control down the throats of Catholics in the last year, under the totalitarian reign of Obama.


What gives me infinite pleasure is that the California blacks who voted for Obama are the same electorate who voted to delegitimize gay marriage with Proposition 8. Until a liberal circuit judge voted to overturn the overwhelming majority will of the people. Again proving that liberals don't believe in freedom or democracy, only in imposing their ideology on the rest of us, by whatever circumnavigation of the system is available to them.

Especially incredible --almost laughable if not for the liberal hatred involved-- is how liberals demonized white Christians for Prop 8 passing, when it was clearly black churches that led the charge to oppose recognizing gay marriage.

It is an amusing irony, that the black voter-surge who elected Obama are the same voter-surge that shot down gay marriage in California. And then how the Left tried to demonize conservative white Christians for it, to bypass that fact.
