He blames ideological liberalism that makes Western nations ashamed of their cultural history, and unwilling to preserve their european Judao-Christian culture in the face of Islamic, hispanic and secular forces.
Buchanan discusses the destruction of Western nations from within, not by external immigration forces. The fact that we allow massive third-world immigration without expecting assimilation is just a symptom of the core problem, which is not third-world immigrants, but a culture undefended.
Read STATE OF EMERGENCY, Buchanan's 2006 book, that focuses on immigration. If we defend our culture and expect assimilation and do not allow those who don't assimilate to come here, then we are strengthened by immigration.
We take people of all races and cultures and expand our numbers by making them one with us. Buchanan cites that Ben Franklin, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and even JFK believed the same things I do, that you distortedly smear as "racism". Historically, we have waves of immigration, and then periods of relatively low immigration for a few decades, to fully assimilate the new waves of immigrants.

But vicious fucks like you call any reasonable control of immigration, and creating of pressures for assimilation, "racism". We admit about 1.2 million green-card-holding LEGAL immigrants a year, more than pretty much the immigration of all the world's other nations combined. I'm proud of that.
But it is only reasonable that, for economic and security reasons, immigration should be within levels we can control. In JFK's time, immigration was about 200,000 a year. We are way beyond controlled levels of immigration. To the point that INS cannot even track them, let alone deport undesireables and illegals.

As I've said for years, I welcome anyone, of any culture, who comes to this country and wants to assimilate and be a productive part of our culture. And I actually would say that over 50% of my friends are non-white, from places like Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Haiti, the Bahamas, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, China, the Phillipines, India, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, and on and on.
If you actually knew what I believe and who I socialize with, you would know the absurdity of what you slanderously "script" me to say.
