And we all know how much the Washington Post loves Donald Trump!
Suffice it to say, they will ALWAYS try to find a context to discount Trump's achievements, despite Trump's creating 4.1% annual growth in just his first 18 months, not to mention all his other achievements. It's just a smoke-and-mirrors narrative to allege that Obama (who never achieved 3% growth in any of his 8 years, who doubled food stamp and disability enrollment, who called 1 to 2% annual growth the "new normal" and that it was delusional to even aspire to higher annual growth, who created 10 trillion in new debt to create the illusion of growth, who printed over 3 trillion in new currency to spend even more....) And now that Trump has achieved 4% and higher, and overall growth the highest since at least 2000 ( high numbers not matched since >>>FAR<<< before Obama's presidency), the Democrats and lying media try to allege Trump's achievements are actually Obama's achievement, and that things were actually better under Obama?

when they never envisioned 4% growth as even a possibility? Clearly, it is Trump's achievement, based on policy implemented by Trump, creating growth that the previous Obama team never even imagined possible.

I'm still at a loss to understand what in Obama's policy would create jobs. In taxation, in expanded regulation, in treating any profit and growth as "greed" and punishing it, I don't see what would logically create growth in Obama's 8 years.
And when you consider that black unemployment is lower than at any time since 1972, Hispanic unemployment is tied with its historic lowest, women's unemployment is at its lowest since 1952, and youth unemployment likewise is at its lowest since 1952, economic performance overall is at its best since 2000, unemployment in every demographic all at lows that FAR precede those in Obama's 8 years, I don't see except through manipulating statistics how anyone could front the notion that things were better under Obama.
Lowering taxes makes sense as a policy that creates economic growth, as it did under JFK, Reagan, and W. Bush.
Cutting regulation logically creates growth, and it has.
Enacting policy that doesn't punish wealth creation logically creates growth, as it has under Trump.
M E M, you've yet to explain not only how things were better under Obama, but with policies that crippled growth under Obama, why in hell would they be better under Obama? By what logic?
Every economic indicator shows things are better under Trump.
