I got maybe, at best, three hours of sleep last night; so I'm a bit loopy this morning. It shows. Time will tell if this Skinhead white-supremacist shooter idiot was part of a larger organization. He was very dishonorably discharged from the U.S. Army 14 years ago, so it's not even accurate to describe him as "a military veteran" in any credible stretch of the term. He was found drunk on duty and multiple other offenses. This case is unusual, in that it's over a day after the shooting, and the media still haven't defined what this guy's motives were. While there's a lot of wild speculation, if there was a racial or political motive beyond pure craziness, it has yet to be revealed, by either the shooter himself or through examining his life and the people who knew him. Which leads me to believe it was just pure craziness. If he was trying to target muslims, he even bungled that aspect.
