From the multiple interviews I've seen of CIA officials, the Senate and Congress Democrats were briefed 30 times, as part of a bipartisan intelligence committee. And by their account, Senate Democrats like Feinstein were telling them they were too "risk-averse" and directly told the CIA to be even more aggressive in gaining intelligence to prevent future attacks.
Did you see Dr. Mitchell, the psychologist who led the waterboarding interrogations, who was on Megyn Kelly the last 2 nights? The standards he set up seemed infinitely reasonable and measured.
And again: THE SENATE DEMOCRATS NEVER INTERVIEWED HIM OR ANY CIA AGENTS INVOLVED IN THE INNTERROGATIONS. The Democrat report was (Soviet-style) reverse-engineered to cherry-pick intelligence and come to a liberal-partisan foregone conclusion that enhanced interrogation was wrong and ineffective, despite that everyone involved in the CIA says it absolutely yielded useful and vital information.
Liberals who bemoan discrimination, intolerance, restraint of Constitutional freedoms, and promotion of hatred toward various abberant minorities, have absolutely no problem with discriminating against, being intolerant of, restricting Constitutional freedoms of, and directing hate-filled scapegoat rhetoric against conservatives.
EXACTLY what they accuse Republicans/conservatives of doing, is EXACTLY what liberals/Democrats do themselves, to those who oppose their beliefs.
