It's ok to not like gay people. Or white people or black people or men or women or whoever. But you better like your momma. Never hate on your momma.
I'll go along with that.
And I think it's obvious that I don't even hate gay people, or any other racial or demographic people as a whole.
Some of the gay posters here in the past 20 years have been among my favorites to interact with. I've defended Beardguy quite a bit here over the years. You can disagree with someone's views or lifestyle, and not hate them personally or as a group. I've clearly liked and interacted in a friendly way here with a number of openly gay people.
And over many decades, I've had gay classmates, gay co-workers and gay friends, even two gay family members, all of whom I have interacted with as friends, both personally and professionally.
My disagreement is with the legal ramifications of gay marriage, that is being used by the Democrat/Left to undermine those with conservative and religious beliefs, used as a weapon for Cultural Marxist overthrow of the United States and of broader western culture.
The same way as cracking wide open the southern U.S. border and illegal immigration is.
The same way legalization of drugs is, the same way de-funding police, as advocating lawlessness that creates more homeless people in the street, as policy of releasing millions of criminals from jail.
All these are part of a Leftist plan to undermine public confidence in our Constitutional republic, and pave the way for a Leftist/Marxist/Authoritarian/Globalist government to replace it. Transgender admirals and other freaks in our military and government. It is at the same time threatening and silly, and it is a deliberate attempt by Leftist elites to demoralize those serving in our military, and to undermine the public's confidence in our military's ability to even defend and protect us.
To use the military as one example, of what the Left is doing through every segment of our government and society. I believe in a society that allows gays to exist and live together (civil union) and live as they want. I don't agree with gay marriage and other intrusions and re-definitions by the Left, that change our culture out from under us, and basically outlaw what I and others believe, under the false banner of giving gays more rights. Gays for at least 20 years live as they want, without persecution. The real purpose of this new legislation is to crush conservatism and religious faith. In the eyes of Cultural Marxists, one of the three "pillars of democracy" (1, nationalism, 2. the traditional nuclear family, 3. religion and particularly Christianity, the three core centers of teaching values that undermine Marxist indoctrination of a country) they need to destroy to advance their Marxist revolution.
Gays and gay marriage are just a weapon used to manipulate gays in that Marxist revolution, to stoke gays to their cause. Just as Critical Race Theory and an indoctrinated sense of victimization is used to rally blacks, hispanics, asians and others to oppose the existing American culture. Divide and conquer.
