I again don't see a source cited or linked, making me wonder how credible the source is. Or if i's just a Leftist/Democrat blog.

It says "assaulting, resisting or impeding officers" but that doesn't match what is described in the two below paragraphs. I posted an article above from Newsmax, sourced from the Wall Street Journal, that says Jared Wise was ONLY charged with 4 misdemeanors when Trump pardoned him.
So if someone here is a liar, it's you, M E M. Using ambiguous weasel-words to allege something that's not true.
HE DIDN'tT engage in violent conflict with officers, he walked in a door to the Capitol, that other police officers (in video I've repeatedly posted here) held wide open and INVITED Trump protesters into the Capitol through. I don't see any "resisting or impeding" in the described security video or police body cam footage below.

Wise walked through the Crypt and past the Memorial Door, ultimately returning and exiting through a window adjacent to the Senate Wing Door at approximately 2:32 p.m. While inside the U.S. Capitol building, Wise is seen wearing a blue jacket and a dark facemask and carrying a dark backpack.

Oh my God !! He walked in through the Senate Wing Door !! He clapped his hands and raised his arms in triumph !! He was seen wearing a blue jacket and a face mask. And a backpack!!
Someone call a SWAT team !! Gee, those cops must have been terrified of him.
And then he exited through a presumably broken window that he didn't break. Or that would have been in the description. WHEW, that was close.

I’m former—I’m former law enforcement. You’re disgusting. You are the Nazi. You are the Gestapo. You can’t see it. . . . Shame on you! Shame on you! Shame on you!” When violence against law enforcement began in front of Wise, including officers being knocked to the ground directly in front of him, Wise turned in the direction of the violence and shouted, “Yeah, fuck them! Yeah, kill ‘em!” A few seconds later, as assaults continued, he shouted in the direction of the rioters attacking the police line, “Kill ‘em! Kill ‘em! Kill ‘em!”

So he shouted at officers. He didn't fight them, he didn't stand in officers' way or prevent them from arresting others. His exact words are transcribed. In the above Newsmax/Wall Street Journal account, it says that :

  • "There is no evidence that anyone involved in the skirmish heard and was encouraged by his words, especially given the cacophony of noise at the time," his attorney said, according to a trial transcript.

So he was shouting his disapproval at officers from a distance, never physically engaged them, and no evidence the persons at a distance who were physically clashing with the cops could even hear him.
So we have basically... trespassing. Punishable by a $300 fine.

And then if FBI wants to manufacture a crime and overcharge him to give him an excessive 5 years in jail "engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, uttering loud threatening, or abusive language, or engaging in disorderly or disruptive conduct, in any of the Capitol buildings; parading, demonstrating, or picketing in any of the Capitol Buildings."

Wow, that sounds pretty serious. But it's basically just a fancy way of saying ... he was trespassing and yelled at some cops from a distance.

It's not like he violently attacked them, or, y'know, THREW A MOLOTOV COCKTAIL in a police car, to try and burn 2 cops to death alive, as two muslim student BLM lawyers did to police in a squad car in New York City during the BLM riots in 2020. Who by the way, FBI did not prosecute, so they never even had to hire a lawyer to defend themselves. Isn't that interesting, the standard Trump supporters are held to, vs. the far lower standard BLM, Antifa, pro-abortion activists, or Democrats storming the Capitol to oppose Trump Supreme Court appointments are held to. But hey, a Trump supporter, he has to die, throw him in jail forever for just trespassing and yelling at a cop. rolleyes

Liberals who bemoan discrimination, intolerance, restraint of Constitutional freedoms, and promotion of hatred toward various abberant minorities, have absolutely no problem with discriminating against, being intolerant of, restricting Constitutional freedoms of, and directing hate-filled scapegoat rhetoric against conservatives.

EXACTLY what they accuse Republicans/conservatives of doing, is EXACTLY what liberals/Democrats do themselves, to those who oppose their beliefs.
